The edges of things lead your eye down the garden path, or along the hall, or into your child’s eyes.

A line that leads along a fence…

The edge of this building. The line of the boards. Leads my (Sincerely, Emily) eye into imagination. What was the building used for? How old is it?
The edge of the canning jar, an older one with a big deep edge. This particular jar came from an estate sale. Oh, how I would love to know what it has held.

Where does your eye lead you?
Lines are beautiful…they connect the dots and act as a directional tool to lead your eye and they can be used to great advantage in your garden. We are learning all about them in our studies this year (web design) and it’s amazing how important the humble line is in making people want to buy things! ;). Cheers for the lovely liney photos…can either of you draw 50 pumpkins? 😉
Lines in nature and lines in web design. What fun.
Lovely pictures!
I LOVE old buildings. Their history inspires me. Wonderful pics!
Hi TS – I love love old buildings. Mom used to take us through old abandoned farm houses and barns. What fun we had.
