Ever mindful what it cost…

I have the great privilege of working my own land,

educating my children at home with my values,

worshiping when and where I choose,

voting for whom I believe in,

and using words both spoken and written to express myself in any way the mood strikes me…

I could rant about the government if I liked, I can complain about my camel if I feel the need (and I often do) I can extol the virtues of organic gardening while blasting away at corporations for poisoning our food supply. 

Yes I can do all this in freedom from government intrusion…I just wish everyone on this planet could say the same.

 

Things of worth come at a high price…

and freedom is just about the most precious thing I have..

So as I celebrate our independence I will remember those that fought so hard and paid so dearly for it

…thank you
